GPS CardGPS cards are on the cutting edge of technology as more and more PDA’s are using them. The question though what is a GPS card? A GPS card is inserted into the expansion slot in a PDA and lets you pick up GPS software that will help make your drive easier and hopefully keep you from getting lost. Most PDA GPS card work wonderfully, but remember they aren’t all interchangeable. You must get the right GPS card for the model you have. Do you really need GPS? Good question and being a person who has used a GPS card before on my PDA yes you do. I will explain.For safety reason you always want to know where you’re headed and how to get there. If you do get lost, a GPS system can point you in the right direction. How many times have your or I just drive around trying to find the way out of a neighborhood or trying to find the right exit? A GPS card will make it much easier to get on the right track and stay there. If your planning trips than GPS is almost a life saver. Trip planning will be a lot easier and you can find the shortest and quickest rout to where your going. The other important part of GPS is that certain ones list points of interest that you may want to stop at. By looking just at a map it may not list all the points of interest and you will miss them. GPS make trip planning a breeze for us novice travelers. Now don’t get me wrong GPS isn’t totally perfect. Just like humans I’ve had some make mistakes, but trust me it’s very rare when it does make a mistake. It’s usually because we didn’t program it long or we didn’t pay attention the directions in gave us. So, a GPS card is important if you travel a lot than a GPS card is something I would consider for your PDA. You may think it’s not worth the money but once you try it a few times you will be hooked like I was. GPS is our future and most cards already have it in their systems. Sometimes it comes standard on a car sometimes it doesn’t. It’s our future so embrace it, because it will be here for a long while.
