JandyJandy is a name I never really heard of but if you ever had a pool or spa they are a name that is well known. The Jandy PDA is known as the Pool Digital Assistant. So, what does the Jandy PDA do? Can you imagine never having to get out of your pool or spa to change the temperature? Isn't that something we all wish we could do? Taking a look at the PDA from Jandy shows me that a lot of thinking when into this product. Almost every pool or spa function can be accessed and used from this PDA. Jandy made it ultra compact and wireless and making it waterproof was something it had to do. In fact it even floats. Now how many PDA's can you say that about?Let’s check out some of the advantages of the Jandy model. First it has a range of 500 feet which means you are not required a line of sight for it to work. The cost is a lot lower than a wired system which means a lot to homeowners and businesses. The simplified Windows drop down menu makes adjusting things a breeze with this Jandy model. It only takes two AA batteries which should last you a whole pool season. The PDA will NOT control features such as Light Dimming, Dusk Activation, DST, SpaLink, Home Automation Interface, so some things you will have to do on your own. Controlling the chlorine is another important feature I like with this neat PDA. It also has personal programming so you can set it to your preference. I like that idea because everybody has different schedules so that works out in a good way. This Jandy PDA makes life so much easier with not having to get out of the spa all the time. It lets you spend more of your time enjoying life instead of interrupting your fun time. Imagine before you even get in the pool you will have it at the perfect temperature. After a long hard day at work you can get into the spa knowing it's at a perfect temperature for you. Not everybody likes the same temperature so this will make that possible. I think this item will continue to grow in popularity as more of us spend more downtime at home and in our pool or spas
